Founder's Access opened on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at 11:00 AM PDT, and Grand Launch follows on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at 11:00 AM PDT. Those are the only two dated milestones Nexon has published for MapleStory Classic World, and this page is the site's tracker for them: what has already happened, what the launch build contains, what it leaves out, and how this page is revised when something new is announced.
The timeline so far
Nexon's official Classic World FAQ lists both launch windows with exact times and states that no post-launch patch schedule has been published. Everything below stays inside that.
| Milestone | Date and time | Status | What it means |
|---|---|---|---|
| Founder's Access | Tuesday, October 6, 2026, 11:00 AM PDT (2:00 PM EDT / 8:00 PM CEST / 4:00 AM AEST on October 7) | Open | The paid early window for Founder's Access buyers, playable through the Nexon Launcher or Steam with no beta key required |
| Grand Launch | Wednesday, October 21, 2026, 11:00 AM PDT (2:00 PM EDT / 8:00 PM CEST / 4:00 AM AEST on October 22) | Next dated milestone | The free opening for everyone, on both the Nexon Launcher and Steam |
| Post-launch patches | Not published | Unknown | Nexon's FAQ lists no future patch dates, so no patch entries appear on this page |
What the launch build includes
The launch build is a bounded, early-MapleStory package rather than a trimmed copy of the modern service. Community-compiled launch data describes five starting states — Beginner, Warrior, Magician, Bowman and Thief — with Beginner as the pre-advancement state you begin in before you choose a path. First job advancement is at level 10.
Progression runs on the original design: slower leveling, manual AP allocation on level-up, scroll-based gear, original maps and original difficulty. The build stops at level 100, and community-compiled data puts the realistic early bracket at roughly the first 35 levels. It all runs alongside live MapleStory rather than replacing it, so both services stay available in the same launcher.
What the launch build excludes
Two omissions matter more than anything else on this page. There is no 3rd job advancement in the launch build, and there is no content above level 100. If your plan depends on a 3rd job kit, that plan waits.
Beyond those, the launch build simply does not include the accumulated systems of the live service. If you are comparing the two, Classic vs Modern lays out the difference in pace, gearing and group play, and Classes covers the advancement paths that do exist at launch.
No post-launch patch schedule is published
This is a deliberate statement, not an omission: Nexon's FAQ publishes no post-launch patch schedule for Classic World. No future patch dates are listed here, and this page will not guess at them. If you see a dated roadmap for Classic World content, balance changes or new jobs attributed to Nexon, check the official FAQ before believing it — our sources do not support any of it.
How this page gets revised
This page is treated as a tracker, so revisions follow a fixed rule: an entry appears only when Nexon publishes it, with the date, time and time zone as written, and a link in the Sources list below. Community-compiled details can be added to the build description, but they are always labelled as community-compiled and never presented as official.
When a date moves or a detail is corrected, the line is fixed rather than quietly deleted, so the page never carries a claim we can no longer support. The updated date in the meta row at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision, and Tips explains what to prepare before each window opens.
